Tony Lieu is a Land Use Planner with over 8 years of planning experience working in both the public and private sectors. Tony’s planning experience has been focused on securing development approvals, advancing transit-oriented communities, and delivering strategic land use and real estate planning analyses for complex, high-profile projects across the Greater Toronto Area. This diverse experience provides Tony with a strong understanding of both municipal and provincial planning frameworks and the ability to navigate development from multiple perspectives. Tony’s planning work has extended across the Greater Golden Horseshoe and is well versed in the management and coordination of applications including leading and supporting applications for Official Plan Amendments, Zoning By-law Amendments, Site Plan Approval, Minor Variance, and Consent. Tony is responsible for managing development applications, preparing planning policy and justification reports, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and municipal staff to advance approvals. His work spans a wide range of project types, including residential, mixed-use, and transit-supportive development.
